Covid-19 Guidelines
EFFECTIVE FROM FEBRUARY 24th 2022
With the Government decision to ease Covid regulations from February 24th the hall management are updating the necessary guidance.
The committee thank all user groups and leaders for adherence to the guidelines and regulations issued over the past 2 years of Covid. The Government’s latest easing of the advice obviously makes events easier to run for everyone. Personal attitudes to the easing of restrictions will vary hugely and it is imperative that the proper care and respect of others is applied by all and particularly to the most vulnerable in our community.
Please be aware of the following points as you continue to use the Village Hall.
KEY POINTS AND GUIDELINES
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY IN THE INTERESTS OF COMMUNITY WELL-BEING
CLEANING and SANITIZER
The Hall will be cleaned regularly during the week, usually before the first booking each day. Whilst users are no longer required to sanitize handles, switches and chairs after use, those groups who have vulnerable members may wish to do so before their session begins. Sanitizer and kitchen roll will continue to be made available in the coming months for use by hirers as considered necessary and sensible.
Each group must CLEAN AND WIPE DOWN ALL WORK SURFACES and TABLES AFTER USE. This applies irrespective of Covid and for the benefit of the next group in the hall.
All groups must REMOVE ALL WASTE GENERATED DURING THEIR OCCUPANCY; LEAVE NOTHING ON THE PREMISES INSIDE OR OUTSIDE. This must continue irrespective of Covid relaxations.
VENTILATION
Users should aim to continue to maintain appropriate ventilation for the number of people in their group and the activity being undertaken. Recent maintenance has meant that most windows will now open. PLEASE ENSURE THEY ARE CLOSED ON DEPARTURE.
SIDE ROOMS AND CHAIRS
All chairs are to be kept in the further side room (NOT the bar room) so that the bar room can be hired separately if needed. The room nearer the toilets is not available for hire separately. Chairs no longer require sanitising after use.
MASKS
The committee urge everyone to fully respect the needs and concerns of vulnerable people and those who wish to continue using masks and have regard to social distancing where it is helpful in maintaining confidence. Please give careful thought to this where the numbers using the hall at any one time are large.
EXERCISE
Groups (eg Badminton, Line Dancing) are advised to continue to consider personal spacings in the Hall and operate in manageable numbers.
USE OF KITCHEN
You will bring your own clean tea towels, so as to reduce risk of contamination between hirers, and take them away. We will provide washing up liquid and washing up cloths together with a water boiler and kettle(s) for boiling water for drinks.
TRACK AND TRACE SUSPENDED
There is no need for checking in and the QR code has been removed. There is no need to keep a record of attendees.
CLOSURE
We will have the right to close the hall if there are safety concerns relating to COVID-19 or for any other emergency. If this is necessary, we will do our best to inform you promptly and you will not be charged for this hire.
COMMUNICATION
Please inform the hall booking secretary on cvhbooking@gmail.com if any problems arise or you feel that you need to report anything to the hall management.
