Story Time @ St Andrews Church

At Storytime there are varied activities which might include singing, prayers, craft activities, games and discussion. These are centred around Bible stories and the Christian message.

At St Andrew’s Church, we cherish our young people and want to give them every possible opportunity to learn more about Jesus Christ and come to know Him as their Saviour.
At our Sunday family services, children come into church with their parents, grandparents or carers and stay for about the first ten minutes. They are very welcome and nobody minds if they make a bit of noise. If children want to go in the children’s corner at any stage in the service, that is fine.
At the appropriate time, any children who want to go out to Storytime leave with one of the leaders and go over to the Village Hall. Any adults who want to accompany them are most welcome.

Everyone returns to the church for about the last 20 minutes, during which time the children are invited to bring their work to the front and explain what they have been learning. There is absolutely no compulsion to do this but many enjoy the interest of the congregation.
We enjoy seeing children of any age, from babies with their carer to older children.
